The VETPAD. ORIGINAL is an air-filled, unstable training surface that reacts to your dog's weight shifts and movements.
To maintain its position, your dog must continuously perform small balancing movements and actively stabilize its body. This specifically targets balance, proprioception, coordination, and stabilizing muscles.
The VETPAD. ORIGINAL is suitable for versatile functional training and balance training – from simple basic positions to advanced exercises and combined training setups.
Measuring 42 × 42 × 8 cm, the VETPAD. ORIGINAL provides sufficient space for a secure footing and various training setups.
Looking for a more compact version?
The VETPAD. petite offers the same versatile training options on a more compact surface area of 30 × 30 × 6 cm.

More instability does not automatically mean better training.
Choose a training surface that allows your dog to maintain and perform the desired position and exercise in a controlled manner.
With two unstable training surfaces, you can position the forehand and hindquarters separately, vary the spacing, and add extra balance and stability exercises.
The BALANCE DUO combines two VETPAD.s in a coordinated set.
Combine VETPAD. with VETBASE. if you want to deliberately combine unstable training stimuli and fixed positioning in one setup.
Developed through veterinary practice
The VETPAD. grew out of daily work with dogs in therapy and rehabilitation.
Each pad is made in Germany and combines high-quality materials with well-designed functionality for professional use and training at home.
Not every exercise is suitable for every dog. If your dog is in pain, noticeably lame, showing neurological abnormalities, recovering from surgery, or has a known medical condition, training should be tailored in consultation with a veterinarian or canine physiotherapist.
